PROOF AGREEMENT

Please read your proof carefully before approving it for print.

Your digital proof is provided so that you can check all details of your stationery before production begins. Please carefully check:

• Names and spelling
• Dates, times and venue details
• Addresses and contact information
• Wording and punctuation
• Guest names, where applicable
• Colours, fonts and overall layout

If you would like any changes made, please let me know and I will provide an amended proof for you to check.

Once you are completely happy with your design, you will be asked to provide your final approval. Your stationery will not be sent to print until this approval has been received.

Once a proof has been approved, JOJE DESIGNS will produce your stationery using the information shown on the approved proof. Any errors or omissions that were present on an approved proof may incur an additional charge if the stationery needs to be amended or reprinted.

By approving your proof, you confirm that you have carefully checked all wording, spelling, dates, details and design elements and are happy for JOJE DESIGNS to proceed with production.

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Personalised & Bespoke Orders

All JOJE DESIGNS wedding stationery is created and personalised specifically for you. Because personalised and bespoke items are made to your individual requirements, they cannot normally be returned or refunded simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your statutory rights if your stationery is faulty, not as described or does not meet the requirements of your order.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible.

Depending on the stage your order has reached, I may already have carried out design work, purchased materials specifically for your order or begun production. Any refund due following cancellation will therefore take into account work already completed and reasonable costs already incurred in connection with your order.

Where production has already begun or personalised items have been produced, these costs may also be taken into account when calculating any refund due.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Every order is carefully checked before dispatch. However, if you believe your stationery is faulty, damaged or does not match your approved order, please contact me as soon as possible with details of the problem and photographs where appropriate.

I will review the issue and, where the goods are faulty or incorrect, provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

Approved Proofs

All personalised stationery is produced from a proof approved by you before printing. You are responsible for carefully checking names, dates, wording, spelling and other personalised information before giving your final approval.

If an error was present on the proof you approved, any subsequent correction or reprint may incur an additional charge. Please see my Proof Agreement for full details.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

PAYMENT & PRODUCTION

A minimum 50% initial payment is required to confirm your order and secure your place in my production schedule.
The remaining balance must be paid in full by the Friday before your scheduled production slot. I will confirm your production slot and payment deadline with you in advance.
Production will begin once the remaining balance has been received and your final proofs have been approved.
If the remaining balance is not received by the agreed deadline, your production slot may need to be rescheduled, which could affect the date your stationery is completed.

At JOJE DESIGNS, I take your privacy seriously and only collect and use personal information where it is necessary to respond to your enquiries, create and fulfil your orders, provide my services and meet my legal obligations.

This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect, how I use it and how it is protected.

INFORMATION I COLLECT

When you contact JOJE DESIGNS through my website, email, at a wedding fayre or in connection with an order, I may collect information including:

• Your name
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Billing or delivery address
• Wedding date
• Details about your wedding and stationery requirements
• Information required to personalise your stationery
• Guest names and, where required for addressed envelopes, guest postal addresses
• Details relating to your order and payments
• Correspondence between you and JOJE DESIGNS

I only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide my services.

HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION

Your information may be used to:

• Respond to enquiries and provide quotations
• Discuss and create your wedding stationery
• Personalise your designs and prepare proofs
• Process and fulfil your order
• Contact you regarding your order
• Arrange delivery
• Maintain appropriate business and financial records
• Deal with questions or problems relating to an order
• Send marketing communications where you have specifically agreed to receive them

The lawful basis I rely upon will depend on why the information is being used. This will usually be because the information is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to fulfil my contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or because you have given your consent.

GUEST INFORMATION

Where your stationery is individually personalised, you may provide me with the names of your guests. If you request addressed envelopes or labels, you may also provide guest postal addresses.

Guest information is used solely for the purpose of producing your stationery and will not be used by JOJE DESIGNS for marketing.

Working guest lists and address information are securely deleted or destroyed when they are no longer reasonably required to complete your order or deal with queries relating to it.

PAYMENTS

Payments may be processed securely through a third-party payment provider.

JOJE DESIGNS does not directly store your full debit or credit card details. Your payment provider will process payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

DELIVERY OF ORDERS

Where your order is sent by post, I may provide Royal Mail, or another delivery provider where applicable, with information necessary to arrange delivery and provide tracking or delivery notifications.

This may include your name, delivery address, email address and telephone number.

Orders may also be personally delivered by JOJE DESIGNS where this has been arranged with you.

WEBSITE & EMAIL

My website, website contact forms and business email services are provided through third-party service providers, including GoDaddy.

When you submit an enquiry through my website, the information you enter is transmitted to me so that I can respond to your enquiry.

Third-party service providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and data-protection obligations.

WEDDING FAYRES & MARKETING

If you provide your contact details to JOJE DESIGNS at a wedding fayre and specifically agree to receive offers or marketing communications, I may use those details for this purpose.

You can withdraw your consent and ask me to stop sending marketing communications at any time.

I will not add you to a marketing list simply because you have made an enquiry or placed an order.

PHOTOGRAPHS, PORTFOLIO & REVIEWS

I may photograph stationery created by JOJE DESIGNS for use on my website, social media and other promotional materials.

Before photographs are published, personal contact information such as postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers and QR codes will be removed or obscured.

I may also display reviews and testimonials provided by customers. Where appropriate, identifying information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for displaying the review.

HOW LONG I KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

I only keep personal information for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected or where I am required to retain it for legal, accounting or business-record purposes.

General enquiries that do not result in an order will normally be deleted when they are no longer reasonably required.

Guest lists and guest address information used to produce personalised stationery will be deleted or securely destroyed when they are no longer required to complete the order or resolve any related queries.

Customer and order records may be retained where necessary for accounting, tax, legal or legitimate business-record purposes.

Design files may be retained as part of the JOJE DESIGNS design archive and to assist with future or repeat orders. Where possible, unnecessary personal contact information will not be retained within archived designs.

Marketing information collected with your consent may be retained until you withdraw your consent or it is no longer reasonably necessary.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

I do not sell your personal information.

I may share limited personal information with trusted third parties where necessary to operate my business and provide your order. These may include:

• Website and email service providers
• Payment providers
• Royal Mail or other delivery providers
• Professional or accounting services where necessary
• Government, regulatory or legal authorities where I am legally required to do so

Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose will be shared.

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights in relation to your personal information. These may include the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you
• Ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Ask me to delete your personal information in certain circumstances
• Ask me to restrict how your information is used in certain circumstances
• Object to certain uses of your personal information
• Withdraw consent where I rely upon consent to use your information

YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT TO DIRECT MARKETING

You have the right to ask JOJE DESIGNS to stop using your personal information for direct marketing at any time.

If you withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications, I will stop sending them to you.

KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SECURE

I take reasonable steps to protect the personal information entrusted to JOJE DESIGNS and to prevent unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Where personal information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or destroyed as appropriate.
